Renewables

Introduction

Renewable Energy is a natural source that comes from rain, wind, sunlight, and tides just to name a few, generating energy from renewable sources can help cut our dependency on fossil fuels which has a considerable effect on the environment. When producing electricity from fossil fuels such as coal, oil and gas there is a large amount of carbon dioxide produced which is harmful to the environment, for every 1kWh of electricity you use, over half a kilogramme of CO2 is released. Generating your own electricity from renewable sources reduces the amount of electricity/oil or gas your house will need, while also reducing your bills, saving you money and doing your bit to reducing carbon emissions.
