Last updated 23 January 2012

During our recent schools workshops there was a competition given to all P1-P7 pupils to create their own ‘Energy Saving Hero’. There was a great response to the competition, which was very close indeed. First prize in the Primary 1-5 category was Hannah MacDonald from Carloway Primary School, 2nd was Niall Walker from Sgoil an Iochdair, and 3rd equal was Donald Matheson from Sgoil Nan Loch and Martin MacSween Scalpay Primary School. First prize for the Primary 6-7 category was Beth Banerjee-Richards from Sgoil Nan Loch, 2nd was Ross Wilson also from Sgoil Nan Loch, and 3rd equal was Jane Kathrine Davidson from Back School and Gillian MacSween from Scalpay.

Hannah and Beth can been seen below holding up their certificates and Amazon book vouchers with Dan Morrison and Kirsty Maclennan who ran the workshops.
