Enterprise for a nice new garden.

The pupils of English primary 5/6 at Sgoil a' Bhac plan to swap light bulbs for plant bulbs. This is to create a nice new garden at their school.

TEAS are pleased to donate energy-saving light bulbs for this innovative school enterprise project.

For any plant bulbs the pupils receive they will exchange them for energy-saving light bulbs.

If you have any plant bulbs you would like to swap for light bulbs, then please get in touch by filling in the form below or by contacting Sgoil a' Bhac on 820230.

In addition to their work on setting up the project, the school pupils have created some brilliant posters. The posters will be used to promote the project. You can see these below.

We intend to visit the enterprise group very soon to talk to them about ways they can save energy and help the environment. We will update this page with information/photos while tracking their progress, so please come back to visit us soon.

• Schools Energy Workshops
With funding from LEADER and support from the CNES Education department TEAS carried out School presentations and workshops to primary and secondary schools throughout the Western Isles.

• Energy Hampers donated by TEAS
TEAS donated an Energy Hamper to both the Airidhantuim and Back Primary School's in May 2011, to help them raise school funds. A closeup of one of the hampers is below.
